Who We Are
We are a group of helping professionals, i.e., high school social workers & counselors, several area churches and many concerned citizens.
We collaborate with Jefferson County Public High Schools, Arnold Food Pantry, Disability Resource Association, Finding Grace Ministries, Jefferson College and University of Missouri Extension 4-H to deliver goods and services.
What We Do
This program is designed to help 15 to 20 year olds who do not live with their families and are still in high school. Our primary goal is to assist these youths in becoming self-sufficient by providing them with the tools and resources they will need to be successful in an independent living situation.
You can help these young people by providing information about places who can help or by serving on our committees.
Contact HYI President Robin Scott at rsctt@hotmail.com for more information.
