One of our members held a “Feed the Monster” event at her Halloween party and collected personal care items for our homeless youth.
October 11, 2014 – St. Martin’s Box City for Awareness & Fundraiser
The youth of St. Martin’s United Church of Christ of Dittmer spent the night in a box to experience homelessness and raise awareness of our county’s homeless youth. They raised $2,100!
October 11, 2014 – Colin’s Car Wash Fundraiser
These pictures were taken at a fundraising car wash at Colin’s Car Wash in Arnold. Youth from Journey Church in Herculaneum and Cedar Hill Lutheran participated. The owner of Colin’s was present and taught the youth how to wash a car without spending a lot of money! The event raised $347, which was wonderful given the cloudy day.
