Who We Are

Our committee consists of food pantries, churches and not for profit organizations. Many of our members are out in the community and are aware of the great need. JCHTF provide food and personal care items to over 2000 families a month. This continues to grow at a rapid pace and with your assistance we shall let no one go hungry in Jefferson County.

 

The Need in our Community

Jefferson County Hunger Task Force (JCHTF) was established due to the great economic needs of families in Jefferson County. Our food pantries have had a large increase in families who are in need of food and personal care items. Many of the food pantries are unable to keep up with the high demands. The Jefferson County Hunger Task Force works with many community organization and companies to improve the conditions facing families in Jefferson County.

How you can help

JCHTF is seeking companies, organizations, churches and volunteers to meet our community’s needs. Companies and organizations in our community can assist us by donating items, hosting food and donation drives. Volunteers are always needed to help collect donations during drives and assist in the food pantries.
