Transitions For Adults in a Nursing Facitlity:
DRA supports people who have disabilities and those who are aging to move from a nursing facility or habilitation center to a quality community setting that meets their needs and wants.
The objectives of DRA Transitions are:
- To move people from a facility to the community;
- To identify and eliminate barriers preventing people from moving to the community;
- To improve the ability of MO Health Net to provide in-home services;
- To ensure that there is continuous quality improvement of in-home services provided
Transitions For Young Adults:
DRA supports youth on an IEP that are transitioning from secondary education to post-secondary life.
Some of the trainings that DRA offer to youth are pre-employment skills, financial skills, nutrition information and communication skills.
